are produced by the world's first Maori owned wine company. Our wines are a superb example of
varietal excellence with a unique and distinct appeal. Tohu's vineyards are situated in
Marlborough, Gisborne and Nelson, three of New Zealand's premier wine growing regions.
True to Maori culture, there is a strong spiritual aspect to everything produced and grown by
Maori. As custodians of this precious gift (our land and vineyards) it is our responsibility to
ensure it is passed onto future generations in pristine condition. Our vineyards are certified by
Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand, we see this program as an integral part of our values, working
